The analysis chart can be a good support to get an overview of the observed state of the weather for Norway and surrounding areas.
The meteorologists produce the analysis chart four times a day, based on weather observations taken at 00, 06, 12 and 18 utc.
Here you can see the traditional surface pressure patterns using isobars and areas of high (H) and low (L) pressure. Fronts are also displayed, as well as some weather symbols.
