Getting there
Bergen is serviced by Bergen International Airport (BGO) in addition to the railway from Oslo to Bergen which crosses the Hardanger plateau and is considered among the more spectacular train journeys in Europe.
A word of advice when booking your flights: Due to the strict travel regulations under the pandemic, it is more convenient to fly directly to Bergen via Copenhagen or Amsterdam rather than flying via Oslo as the queues in OSL airport can be long and you would have to pass security again to get on a domestic flight from Oslo to Bergen.
The hotel is located just next to the train terminus (hence its name) and is thus easy to reach if you come by train from Oslo (they also offer breakfast if you take the sleeper train). If you come by air, you can either take the airport bus to the bus station (20 minutes) and walk (5 minutes), or take the light rail (45 minutes) and get off at Nonneseter (next to the train station).
