Shaping climate services for the future
The 15th EUMETNETData management workshop are held in Oslo from 4–6th of November 2025
workshop aims to be relevant to both data providers and data users. All topics related to climate data are covered. The Workshop will have a session for oral presentations as well as a poster session.
Workshop Programme
Main Topics
- Data Rescue: investigation, cataloguing, digitizing, imaging and use of rescued data
- Climate observations:standards and best practices. Use of non-conventional data sources
- Quality Control and Data Management: Automation of QC procedures, QC of real-time, gap filling
- Data Services: Archiving and access to climate data products
- Homogenization of climate data, sub daily to monthly timescales, homogeneity of gridded climate data
- Climate data analysis tools: Including the use of Machine Learning algorithms and Artificial Intelligence in climate services and climate data management

Pricing and registration
On site attendance at the workshop costs 1 935 NOK. This includes lunch. Digital attendance costs 455 NOK (and registration is required).

Presentation guidelines

Oral presentations: 20 minutes total in powerpoint or similar (15 min talk + 5 min discussion). All presenters (onsite/online) must upload slides to the conference platform (details to follow). Online presenters may share slides locally; uploaded file serves as backup

Posters: Boards portrait 95 × 196 cm. Recommended size: A0 portrait. Placement instructions will be provided onsite.
