International Journal of Climatology Special Issue
The 15th EUMETNET Data Management Workshop will be held in Oslo from 4–6 November 2025. The workshop aims to be relevant for both data providers and data users, covering a wide range of topics related to climate data. The programme will include oral presentations and a poster session. The proposed Special Issue will be announced during the event, featuring papers based on the presentations given at the workshop.
Topics of interest for this call for papers include but are not restricted to:
- Climate data rescue: searching, organizing, digitizing, imaging, and using old data
- Climate observations: standards, best practices, and using non-traditional data sources
- Quality control and data management: automated checks, real-time QC, and filling data gaps
- Data homogenization: ensuring consistency in daily to monthly data and gridded datasets
- Climate data analysis tools: using machine learning and AI in climate data and services
- Climate data and services: archiving and providing access to climate data and products
